t looks like the merger of two New Orleans POWERHOUSES.
After 9 years of developing and managing some of New Orleans most unique Recording Artists, Bradford “Bentley” Roublow has merged his Bentley Barz Entertainment with contemporary boutique label, Vibers Entertainment, a spokesperson said.
Both companies will agree to a 50/50 equity split, according to reports. As part of the deal, Vibers Entertainment’s executive team will remain intact, including proprietors Lex Muery, George Arnold IV, and Billy Steele.
The now four-headed tandem will share responsibility over both complete rosters. This will include Management, Production, Marketing and Development. There is no word yet on whether they are actively looking to sign new talent under their umbrella.
As for the current artists, they are excited about the joint venture on the corporate level, seeing though many of them are already acquainted; many have even collaborated among each other in years past.
“To partner up made too much sense,” said Roublow. “BBE and Vibers shared a lot of the same resources and operating space. The decision really came from watching how well these creatives interacted with one-another. We collectively had to ask each other, why not?”
Bentley Barz Entertainment launched in 2012 as an independent label. Its first full-length release was a 2015 compilation entitled Bentley Barz Ent. Vol. 1
